seriously it's amazing how fleshed out a TV series like Star Trek in it's various forms is considering it's setting in a quasi Utopian world were violent methods are discouraged.
I don't like TOS much but the movies up until insurrection are for the most part great and TNG is an amazing series as is the first few seasons of DS9 and the first season of Voyager.It's a shame Q was never in any of the films as well.
I wish Disney would eventually go down a similar route with Star Wars and create a live action series where they can go into detail about different characters, planets, systems etc..
