BUT DO THEY REALLY? Perhaps, this was true at the end of the 20th century but do you guys feel the same way about these guys today?
CHARLTON: WC Winner, CL winner, All-time England top-scorer until this year with 49 goals. I honestly don’t see how he’s any better than GULLIT? Clearly, ZIDANE has surpassed him. WHAT ABOUT INIESTA? Or Even RONALDINHO for crying outloud?
BANKS: Voted best GK of the 20th century behind YASHIN. Was he really better than ZOFF? Clearly, he’s not better than BUFFON! What about Casillas and Schmeichel?
And last but not least:
MOORE: WC winner and that’s about it. FIGUEROA anyone? I’m not even going to mention the likes of Baresi, Passarella, and Scirea because they were Sweepers. BUT CLEARLY ALESSANDRO NESTA was better than Moore. NESTA is arguably the greatest CB of all-time. Nesta: WC winner, Euro Cup runner-up, 2-time UCL winner and he faced tougher opponents. How come my main man Nesta gets not love? :eekani::eekani::eekani:
