So has anyone had the big Turkish wedding here?
I start this as a support group for young Turkish men with a Turkish girl who are under pressure to get a söz, engagement ring then organise a 10-20-30K wedding.
Now the family will claim you make the money back... that is quite debatable!
Everyone feel free to share some tips for those yet to marry...
IMO never let the female take control of the relationship. I have seen a friend fall into that trap her side of the family basically got him to move into their area and now he is suffocated by their ridiculous demands every other month...
